I absolutely cannot stand SPIDERS. Their hairy legs. The way they move. Their little, beady eyes staring at you 1000 ways. The fact that their reproductive organs are in their legs. The fact that their skeletons are on the outside so they crunch when you smash them, and they scream. Gross!!

I'm not too afraid of bugs....I don't like killing them so I'll have someone else do it. Spiders scare me sometimes, but mostly I can't stand snakessssssss.

hmmm... tough choice. I'm pretty freaked out by anything with lots of legs, but I particularly don't like spiders. *shudder!*

Thanks for the fun give away, Blickenstaffs!

I hate cockroaches. They are filthy bugs that are hard to kill. Amazing how they can infest so fast. I had a in-law that brought roaches with his stuff when they stayed with for a bit. Never could control them. Then when they left and got their own place the roaches moved with them. We were roach free and they still had them. Gotta love in-laws

I don't like cockroaches either, but I'm not talking about the puny ones that are here in UT... I'm talking about the 3-4 inch ones that can fly like a grasshopper. Ugh. Nasty little guys. Even Wall-E didn't help me appreciate them any more.

As I am from the desert in California, I would normally say the cockroach as well - but I had a spider nest (is that what you'd call it) open while I was a young child sleeping outside and woke up to hundreds of tiny spiders crawling over me - so even though they aren't "bugs" in the traditional sense of the definition, spiders are my least favorite creepy crawly.

Being from the desert in Southern California, normally the cockroach would be first on my list, but if I can include arachnids to this, spiders are by far and large my least favorite creepy crawly.

Growing up in England there aren't many dangerous bugs but I remember every year when the Daddy long legs would come in their throngs. I think the proper name for them is the May fly or something but they had long legs and long noses and bulgy bottoms, (even bulgier when the females were pregnant) and had wings. They would cover several walls of the school I went to. Some of the mobile buildings walls would be covered in them and one year a couple of so called friends decided it would be funny to push me against one of the walls. The realised I didn't like the daddy long legs and dragged me to the wall and threw me against it and I remember for hours trying to brush dead daddy long legs bodies off my school blazer and pants. Not liked them since.

I hate roaches too! I'd rather be in a room with 100 spiders than a room with 1 roach. They're so yucky!

In Spain, in my first apartment, there were tons of cockroaches!! I would feel them crawl over me sometimes while I slept! I HATE COCKROACHES!! My skin still crawls just thinking about it.

I fully agree with the cockroaches. I had them in an apartment here in Provo and they were MUCH bigger, and braver when we lived in Guatemala. They give me the shivers!

I know scorpions don't necessarily count as bugs (or do they? they are in my sons book "Biggest Bugs" after all...), but anyway, they terrify me! I use to have nightmares of hem crawling over me at night, even though I'd never seen one in my home (from AZ). A few years after I moved out they found scorpions in front of my bedroom door! GAH! So creepy!!! I mae my husband pack away his paperweight that has a scorpion in it, because I just can NOT bare to look at them even if they are dead.

Mosquitos. Not only do they make annoying noises right in your ear, but swarms of them will bite you and leave you itching and miserable for the next few days.

Although, I did kill one all by myself a few days ago. I'm pretty proud of myself for that.
